The only Griffiths I have written a page for so far is Martha Griffiths, who lived from 1837 to 1882.
She was born at Llangwm Ucha and was the daughter of John Griffiths and Elizabeth (nee Jenkins). Her family were farmers – John farmed 137 acres at the time of the 1851 census at Ffynnonau Farm (“Fenoni” on the census) at Clytha near Raglan.
She had several brothers and sisters.
Martha married Cornelius Evans, who was 17 years her senior in 1859. They came to farm at Glascoed Vach for a period.
