At some point Thomas and Mary Jane moved to live at Clearwell, Glascoed, a smallholding on the left towards Glascoed Baptist Chapel. This was Tom Parry junior’s address at the time of his death in WW1 in 1916. Clearwell is shown as No.9 on the Llanbaddock census of 1901, neighbouring No.8, Glen View. However, the 1891 Llanbaddock census shows neither of these addresses, No. 8 is Nine Wells, next to two uninhabited cottages. Interestingly, Annie Mary Parry referred to Clearwell /Nine wells to describe where her granny Parry lived.
