Houses with Glascoed links

In my research, and correspondence with others interested in the site,  occasionally come across information that while having only a link with Glascoed, is too interesting to pass up. I’ve put these house details in this sub-section of the site.

Llangwendr Farm near Llangovan, is linked to William Jones and Ann nee Powell, the Grandparents of Maria Arnold of Maesmawr Farm, Glacoed. They lived here before moving to Tregeiriog House.

Tregeiriog House, Llanishen, was the home of William and Ann Jones. Their daughter was Maria Jones, who married Richard Arnold and settled at Maesmawr in the early 1840s till their deaths in the early 1870s. William and Ann are my Great-Gt-Gt-Gt Grandparents.

Interestingly, Cornelius Evans, who later farmed at Glascoed Fach Farmhouse, was also born here.
