Some of the original Minute books of the Church Meetings have been preserved at the Gwent County Record Office. I have taken copies of these between 1868 (the earliest there) and the mid 1920s. I am currently in the process of transcribing these.
Due to their length this will take a while to fully transcribe, but they do make for interesting reading (although it is mundane in places!). You see records of baptisms of numerous members of the church and also get to know a few characters, via some interesting snippets of information and stories.
Part 1 is from 1868 to 1873
Part 2 is from 1874 to 1882.
Part 3 is from 1883 -1900
Part 4 is from 1901 onwards
