Eliza Lanworn
Another name for Eliza was Eliza Lanwarn. Noted events in her life were: • Census: 1861, 7 Apr 1861, Lower Cwm, Glascoed, Monmouthshire. • Occupation: Wood Cutter's wife, 7 Apr 1861, Lower Cwm, Glascoed, Monmouthshire. • Witness at marriage: of Anne Morgan and Richard Voice, 26 May 1867, Llanfihangel Pontymoile Parish Church, Monmouthshire. • Census: 1871, 2 Apr 1871, Pentwyn, Glascoed, Monmouthshire. • Occupation: Labourer's wife, 2 Apr 1871, Glascoed, Monmouthshire. • Witness at marriage: of William Skipp and Elizabeth Lavender, 7 Aug 1873, Llanfihangel Pontymoile Parish Church, Monmouthshire. It appears that Eliza was a regular witness at weddings at the church, along with her husband William. I have only recorded the ones where there were people with a Glascoed connection getting married. Eliza married William White Sep Q 1853 in Pontypool Registration District, Monmouthshire.1 (William White was born circa 1822 in Llanover, Monmouthshire.) |
