William married Sarah Arnold, daughter of Richard Arnold and Elizabeth Williams, on 31 Oct 1887 in St. Woolos' Church, Newport, Monmouthshire. (Sarah Arnold was born on 11 Oct 1866 in Glascoed, Monmouthshire, christened on 12 Jul 1909 in Mamhilad, Monmouthshire,⁵ died in Mar 1930 in Mamhilad, Monmouthshire ² and was buried on 30 Mar 1930 in Mamhilad, Monmouthshire ².)
